Lucinda's Secret by Holly Black, Tony DiTerlizzi

3.0

Lucinda’s secret is... not as much of a secret. I mean, it’s not something she advertises, but it’s made pretty obvious in the book what it is. That said, this was a good story once again. I didn’t think there was as much to it as the last one though. Though there was a scene toward the end I loved in which Jared thought on his feel really well.

I had a issue with one scene which mentioned physical torture and self harm. This is a kids’ book, and anything like that should come with a content warning so parents or teachers know to have a conversation with the kids about what they’ve read. The absence of that bothered me.
