My Thoughts On: Willow #3

1. "What am I, mayor of Witch Town now? (Not a bad job but I should probably finish high school first.)" I would definitely vote for Willow as mayor of Witch Town. Get her on that ballot in 2024.

2. "Get it together, Willow. You're at a seven on the nerd scale. I need you at like a three." Story of my life, Willow, story of my life. This is what I think to myself whenever someone doesn't enjoy my guillotine fun fact.

3. Don't be embarrassed, Willow! I too would ask if a town is actually a cult in the most roundabout way possible.

4. "The only thing I can compare it to is the first time I touched a waterfall... And this force of cold, blue water pounded against my palm. Like the coldest, purest rush a person could ever feel. A whole life force in my hand. It's wonder" This is the best description of magic I've ever read.

5. The page where Willow is holding the town's magic in her hands is phenomenally illustrated and colored. Add it to the list of pages I want as posters! Props to Natacha Bustos and Eleonora Bruni for their amazing work!

6. Ugh, this hurts me. Someone is led into Willow's heart, and Xander is there. Because of course Xander would be there. He was her best friend, and she's still hurting from the loss of him and from giving him part of her soul.

7. I am always here for criticism of Christopher Nolan, and I didn't expect to find it in Willow #3, but it delights me nevertheless.

8. "Sometimes people ask you if you're lost.... and it's not actually a question." Right you are, Willow! If people don't want you to explore or leave a town, you're probably in a cult.

9. Yay for determined Willow who realizes that something is definitely hinky in this town! Let's go investigate. Cue the jingle!

10. I love a cliffhanger! Especially when I have the next issue of standby!
