This was such a unique romantasy — lighter on the fantasy elements but still packed with intrigue and emotion.

Expect betrayals, world-changing secrets, and devastating truths woven into a setting that feels like Peaky Blinders meets elemental magic and class warfare.

There was a small stretch where the pacing slowed, but once the big reveals hit, the story really took off. The ending had me on the edge of my seat, and these cliffhangers are absolutely killing me 😩.

I’m already counting down to book two, and this definitely won’t be my last read from Stacey McEwan!
