Bite Me: A Vampire Anthology by Addison Cain

4.0

It seems like Vampire fiction has been around forever which can make it really hard for authors to come out with a new/exciting take on the genre. This anthology will not be to everyone's tastes & is most definitely NOT Twilight. All of the stories are dark & moody. The vampires are most definitely not the misunderstood good guy. The stories are full of dub-con/non-con & don't always deliver a HEA. What it does deliver are stories from quality authors delivering something different to the generic stuff that fills out the genre & are stories that you may not want to read on your own late at night. Not all of these stories appealed to me & there were a few that were prequels, so they shut off right when things started getting interesting. If you like your vampires down & dirty & very alpha, this anthology should make you very happy.
