A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout

1.0

I don't understand the hype here. The plot gets so lost, Poppy's thoughts are mostly useless page filler, and the same sentences and adjectives are constantly recycled over and over. Thankfully the editing and writing was a little better than the last book, but it still wasn't great. I keep hearing the series gets better, but I have to call it after this book and move on. The story started to get fun, but it feels like things are getting drawn out without any decent story telling.

These books do so much telling instead of showing. Nope. Done. Gotta call it here.
