Will by Will Smith, Mark Manson

emotional funny inspiring reflective

From the very beginning, this hucked me in. Smith's writing was so immersive and incredibly personal - it felt like you were having his life story told to you as if you were having a conversation with Smith. The emotions present are beautifully heart provoking, intensifying everything mentioned. I can't describe how much I enjoyed this, and the perspective I have got for Smith has amplified even more.

One of the aspects I enjoyed the most was the photos from Smith's life making the autobiography so much more personal as you see his life visual from a child to the year the book was written.

I commend Smith for being explicit and not shying away to mention the most distressing events to the most rewarding events in his life - representing that life can change instantly and one thing can change all of your life. As well as no matter how perfect your life can look externally, it doesn't mean it is all the time and that there will be situations where you regret your decision whether better or for worse.

Even if you aren't a huge fan of Smith, I highly recommend this just to understand the description of emotions and how to change such negative events into motivation and strive, which can happen throughout life.
