Not the End of the World by Hannah Ritchie--One of the most clear books I've read, this book presents an optimistic look at the present and the future. There were times I found myself skipping ahead to the sources to review them because the data felt so counter-intuitive. For example, the number of deaths from natural disasters is dramatically decreasing over time, not increasing with climate change. With that said, this is not a climate change denial book, it is a thoughtful, in-depth examination of policy prescriptions that work and those that are just putting lipstick on a pig. Two thumbs up.
