This is a hard book to rate. The writing is phenomenal and I love John marrs in general but I can never ever recommend this book nor would I have read it if I knew how absolutely dark and gruesome it was. I’ve read all his speculative fiction books and loved them. This was on an Amazon deal. I bought it without even reading the blurb. I really liked this book until about 70%. It’s so freaking messed up.
