me2023 's review for:
Poison Study
by Maria V. Snyder
Pretty good read. I found out Kristin Atherton was the narrator, and this is my type of genre, so I had to try it.
I'm glad I did because Yelena was a very believable and engaging character. I rooted for her from the start and thought she was pretty cool.
For some reason, the romance didn't do it for me, but aside from that, I did like the plot and characters.
Overall, I enjoyed this quite a lot and felt entertained throughout. It wasn't the most thought-provoking or memorable read, but a good one nonetheless.
