A gripping novel and a sequel to the book "Silence". In this book, Oakley was struggling to rebuild her life from scratch, and surviving a traumatic experience. The horrors of her past continues to haunt her and causes severe anxiety and trust issues. Trying to moving forward, Oakley struggles to cope up with everything around her. Filled with ups and downs, confronting her own fears and vulnerabilities Oakley struggles to find closure. Cole plays a significant role by supporting her mentally and physically, by being there for her throughout her recovery and healing. He offers a safe space to confide in and helps her deal with trauma. He becomes her ally and strength.
