This was my first book to read by this author and wow! She magically weaved the mortal and paranormal together perfectly. There are dark and gory parts with lots of sex and violence, but she keeps you interested and entranced by the characters. This book leaves you wanting more and wanting the 2nd book about these characters. I'm not spilling and spoilers here. Just read the book!!!
