“I’m a hundred and twenty pounds dry, thank you very much. Now, as you seem to have selected option B, I’m really hoping you’ll tell me what you know, and I’ll still thank you, and we’ll part on a better understanding of the world - that understanding being that no one likes to be asked to smile.”

Murder at Haven’s Rock by Kelley Armstrong

QUICK SUMMARY 🖊️
A town is being built deep in the Yukon wilderness, a place for people wanting a fresh start. The goal of the town is not to be found.
There’s one simple rule, stay out of the forest.

When two workers go missing. Two of the towns people are called in ahead of schedule to help find them.

FINAL THOUGHTS 💭
This is technically the first in a spin off from the Rockton series so you don’t need to read that asides before going into this one. For me though I feel like there’s so much I’m missing from the MCs since I started with this one.

It’s alright as far is mystery and thriller go, but def not my fave.
