Edgedancer by Brandon Sanderson

Sanderson explains in the postscript that Lift is one of his favorite characters from the Stormlight Archive. She's one of my favorite characters as well.
I was a little disappointed that the first chapter was a repeat of the sequence also included in Words of Radiance (I had hoped for more new stuff!), but not including that sequence - one of my favorite parts of that book - in a book devoted to covering only the activities of Lift would have made no sense either, so it was obviously the right decision on Sanderson's part to repeat that part here.
The character really does not fit into this environment that was created at all, but somehow you feel like perhaps she does anyway. Sanderson not only makes it work, he makes it work very well. The book was highly enjoyable to read.
