Strip Me Bare by M. Never, Marissa Carmel
1.0
Wtf kind of hell did I just endure?? This book was one of the worst I have ever had the displeasure of reading. Both Alana and Ryan are fricken annoying as hell and don't get me started on how corny this book is. It has the whole "I'm rich as hell kind of girl falling in deep love with a poor guy, and I can't tell my dad because he'll stop paying for everything I own" kind of vibe.
Alana is in law school and is an uptight spoiled bitxh who was in love with a kid named Ryan who broke her heart after they had sex because she woke up in the morning and he was gone. She has a lot of trust issues to go along with it, but she never had any problems trusting Ryan, both in the past and present. She also claims she can't cry due to the death of her mother. She is also spoiled as hell and doesn't want to tell her dad any bad news about her life or do "anything wrong" because she doesn't want him to stop paying for her law school and bills. (eye-fcuking-roll). Wow. Seriously? Almost everyone who goes through school doesn't have their rich little parents holding their hand while they go through life. Pay for your own damn shit and grow up. And the worst part is that people actually think she is like a saint and so 'responsible'. You got to be fcuking kidding me? Through this whole book, I wanted to shove a pen in my eye, it would have been less painful to endure.
Ryan is just as bad, he literally feeds her fcuking ego by saying shit like you're too good for me, you could do better and all that other crap. Like fuck off! Seriously. It's annoying as fuck. Ryan is also known as Jack the stripper and always defends his brother. He's desperately in love with Alana and never forgot about her. Awe, can I puke now?!?
This book is intended for low level audiences because I swear to god, it's made for retards. Like when Alana gets in her car she puts an address in her GPS and get this! The voice that cones out sounds robotic!!! What?!? I know the shock. I felt the exact same way. I totally didn't know or need to know that the voice coming out of your stupid GPS is robotic. And the worst part is when tragedy hits Ryan, and Alana asks if he's okay with knowing about who passed away. No! a normal person would not be fucking okay! Stupid Bitch! But that not all because they are not fucking normal, get this, he says yea, as long as I have you. Fucking idiots.
Seriously, I must have read the wrong book because there is no way in hell that anyone could ever give this book a 4 star or higher. It was that bad.
