Who Are the Real Chosen People?: The Meaning of Choseness in Judaism, Christianity and Islam by Reuven Firestone

4.0

This book was full of interesting information from which I definitely learned a great deal. I found that the question “who are the real chosen people?” is answered, but in a very subtle and possible not very fulfilling way. The answer to the question is in the last line of the conclusion and seems obvious once you reach it. It‘a not a mind altering conclusion, but this book definitely gives you perspective on the beliefs of Christianity and Islam. As someone who did not know (and still doesn’t know much) about these two religions, it helped me to have more understanding and I even learned things I didn’t know about Judaism.
