This book is going to be hard to write a review for. First I have to mention that it mentioned a koala twice, so I will already give the book 5 stars for that :) This book was very emotional. I cried multiple times and the end of chapter 22 broke me. I had to put the book down and just think about everything that had happened because the book affected me that much. The main characters all have been through so much and at times it was just too much for them. When I did pick it back up (the next day) I read through to the end without realizing I was at the end of the book. All of a sudden it was over. I love any author that can suck you in like Jessica Park can. I usually have to read in a quiet room because I get too distracted by other noises, but this book had me so sucked in that my husband was on a conference call next to me and I read without even hearing him. That is the sign of a good book.
