Ghost Eaters by Clay McLeod Chapman

I started out liking this so much. The characters were good, there was a lot of history, and it started out like a slow burn/dread story. However, as it went it got a lot more disjointed and there were a ton of questions and plot holes that went unanswered. There were several scenes that were horrible (in a good way) on their own, but they felt repetitive. For example, Erin seeing ghosts at work and then experiencing the exact same thing at her parents' dinner party the same evening felt like a lot, and looking back I think that's where the writing and plot started to devolve. I liked the writing style but wish this had maybe gone through a few more rounds of edits, especially on the second half.
