What the actual helllll was that?? Hang on cause this one is crazy and dark, but I would’ve killed for SOME structure like chapters.. or just less ambiguous writing to the point where I forget who’s in the scene.. it was just difficult to follow. I’m definitely a “Tender is the Flesh” fan, but this one was overall disappointing and I wanted something to help me better understand the world “before”. It definitely had some terrifying parallels to today worth exploring, but she just kinda glossed over them.. And tbh, the ending left me emptier politician’s promise.
