Into the Pit by Scott Cawthon, Elley Cooper
3.0

Continuing my reading of the Fazbear universe, because I’m currently in a fixation that just won’t seem to stop. This is the first book of the Fazbear Frights series, and I really enjoyed the idea of these novella short stories as opposed to the full novels. I enjoyed The Silver Eyes trilogy, but these little stories make for a quick, entertaining read that aren’t as deep as a full series would be. The ending of the book contains a epilogue, which I believe is added to at the end of each FF book if I recall.

These stories are written very Goosebumps-esque and I enjoyed reading them. All three stories deal with the idea of three separate kids getting what they desire the most (albeit in a way they wouldn’t expect, as a Fazbear novel would go.): an exciting summer, a chance to be beautiful, and a way to disappear from the world. I’m not too sure if I could pick a favorite out of the three, but like I said in my trilogy review, I’m probably one of the biggest suckers for Funtime Freddy. I loved how he was portrayed in Count the Ways, the snarky kook. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the Fazbear Frights.
