Okay, book 3 was worlds better than the first 2. This is for multiple reasons:
  1. The plot is actually interesting and has higher stakes than Persephone getting kidnapped...again. That cliffhanger at the end made me mad - which is a good thing.
  2. The diversity is way more apparent and appreciated. The representation is good.
  3. Persephone and Hades didn't infuriate me. Their development as characters was clearer and logical, and their relationship was given depth while still holding true to the heated passion that drove it initially.
Looking forward to Book 4 in 2022!
