After putting this off the last few months, I enjoyed it more than I initially thought that I would. I have always enjoyed books that do a dual timeline story well and this was one of them. The back and forth between the past and present had me questioning some of the characters. I did pick up on what happened to one of the characters near the middle of the book, and I wasn't that far off when I reached the reveal later on. Nora was kind of annoying and I didn't care for her that much. But that could have been because I had just read a different book where the matriarch of the family was keeping secrets. All in all it was a good book and I enjoyed it.
