Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

5.0

Incredible, the perfect conclusion to a perfect series!

HEDWIG - Honestly one of the saddest deaths in the series, I cry every time.

It always warms my heart that The Weasley's give Harry a watch for his birthday, but are embarrassed they can't afford a new one - But Harry is just so touched by the sentiment.

The Weasley's are honestly one of the best parts of the series - despite the fact that they struggle to support so many kids on Arther's wage they ALWAYS give Harry birthday, Christmas and Easter presents, and let him stay with them (therefore having an extra mouth to feed) because his life at the Dursley's is so crap. I love that Harry ends up with Ginny, not only are they perfect for each other but they get to become actual family.

One thing that frustrates me to no end is that Hermione refuses to believe in the deathly hallows when there is SO much evidence to point in that direction but she's so adamant it's just a story. Like girl 6 years ago you thought magic was just a story too? Also she literally only just heard the story for the first time - it would make more sense if Ron didn't believe it since he's the one who grew up with the fairytale.

DOBBY. MY HEART.

BAMF Narcissa Malfoy LYING to Voldemort. What an icon.

I love that Harry goes back to save Draco in the room of requirement - even knowing that he's a death eater he won't let him die.

FRED. MY HEART.

Another one of my fav moments is the house-elves, led by Kreacher going after the death eaters with kitchen knives.

I love the ending of this book, it was absolutely perfect - I love Harry and Ginny and Ron and Hermione being together - it was perfect!
