While attending the Sundance Film Festival I saw the movie Ophelia and fell in love with the story. I picked up the book as soon as I could and devoured it. It is different from the movie in some little and some big ways but both are incredible. I resonated with Ophelia throughout the whole book, she is the strong female character that this world needs. The bad reviews I’ve seen of this book, in my opinion, seem to be from woman who have forgotten this time of their lives or maybe don’t believe in as strong of a woman as Ophelia. This book is a must read and one I will probably read a few more times.
