I've been on the fence about DNFing and even though I'm pretty far, life is too short to read books we don't like. It's not what I expected or was looking for tbh and it's wayyyy too long. It feels like the plot is going in circles. The writing style is also not for me, it's very 80s (which is fair, in its defense). Not at all horror or scary to me, just gross, which was disappointing.
