Born of Legend by Sherrilyn Kenyon

When I found out who this story focused on, I about had a heart attack! The author does an amazing job of telling his story in such a way that we can’t help but love him as a Hero!

Dagger was an awesome hero, striving to be more than his past and do right by those he had harmed. I loved how Ushara accepted him through his current actions and not his past! The twists and turns that the story took was amazing, and the fact that Dagger had to save his birth family, but ended up not reconciling with them was very realistic and well done. There was a lot of his story that made me cry!

I also loved that Ushara was a strong heroine and able to see past the rumors of Dagger’s past. I also enjoyed the fact that she didn’t snub him for being different! Her family was also enjoyable to watch, for the most part!

All things considered, I really enjoyed the book. The repetitiveness of going over events from previous books was a bit old, and my largest complaint about it, but it wasn’t a major detraction from it either. This is one I would definitely recommend!
