SUMMARY
Eli Miller is on the tenure track at his school. He’s put in the work, and he’s about to reap the rewards, which feels a lot better than thinking about his failed marriage and subsequent divorce. He’s had his head down, nose to the grindstone, which might have turned him into a bit of a bore, but tenure is going to be worth it. All the same, Eli takes a quick weekend away before the new school year starts to relax and let loose a little.

Immediately, he meets Noah, a gorgeous, sweet, enthusiastic alpha who wants Eli to help him get rid of a little something: Noah’s virginity. The resulting night together is explosive, but Noah gets called home for an emergency before they can have their “morning after” together. He leaves his number and begs Eli to call.

Unfortunately, Eli's busy getting ready for the start of classes. Before he can decide if he’s going to use the number or lose it, Noah walks into Eli’s classroom. As a student. His student. The younger man is ecstatic to have found his mystery omega again, and this time, he’s not leaving anything to chance.

MY THOUGHTS
When I tell you that this book is like reading sunshine x sunshine topped off with a healthy scoop of sunshine and just a little dash more of, yep, sunshine...Eli and Noah are adorable together. A. Dorable. Noah is eager, excited, and inexperienced without crossing into himbo territory. Eli is so deserving of finding a partner who worships him like Noah does. They seem incredibly well-matched, and the conversations they have around traditional alpha-omega roles are refreshing. Eli may be an omega, but he's also extremely driven professionally, which has impacted his love life, the way he sees the world, and what he wants his role to be. Having to help raise so many siblings has made Noah much more emotionally mature than a typical 21-year-old college guy, which feeds into his world views and opinions and as a result helps him more easily get where Eli is coming from. I really enjoyed the way the author worked this larger discussion of gender roles into an MM omegaverse romance.

BOTTOM LINE
This is my first read from Grae Bryan (even though I have several on my TBR), and it will not be my last by a long shot. It’s a quick, low-angst read, and I’m excited to see what’s next in the Extra Credit world as well. This book is a great start to a new series.
