Girls Weekend by C.M. Nascosta
4.0

I think I’ve made it pretty clear that C.M Nascota is one of my favourite authors. I adore everything she writes and this book was no different! The book takes place over a long weekend with our three leading ladies taking a vacation to an orc resort. What was intended to be a no-strings-attached weekend, I’m sure you can guess, turned into much more than that for some of our ladies.

Overall, I loved the book. I think that it was a unique idea to juggle three different POV’s and different storylines throughout the novella. I did find myself completely uninterested in Ris. I would have happily gave up her storyline to read more about the other two ladies.

Lurielle stole the show for me. It was amazing to see a character be open and honest about their self esteem issues. It felt extremely relatable and was nice to see a character face those internal issues. I could see myself in her shoes with those issues and it was wonderful to see how she slowly overcame them in the book.

I also adored both MMCs. I feel like we had a good balance of personalities. Khash was a southern gentleman that I wanted to take home myself. Tate, on the other hand, was elusive and secretive. I wanted to learn more about both of them. I cannot wait to find out more about them in the following book.

I enjoyed this book so much and am happy the sequel is already released! I can’t wait to start!
