i'm ???????
this book feels like one that i'll have to read after i grow up a bit more and experience more of life. i'm freshly 18 and honestly, i feel like there's a lot in this book that can be more usefully interpreted after you've seen more of the world and lived with people who are way different from you.

it's kind of a weird book, but i definitely don't dislike it. i don't know how i feel about it, but i feel sad for yeonghye and her sister. they both went through a lot in their own and i like both characters, even though i'm still VERY intrigued by yeonghye. i feel like i left with more questions than answers, especially after the 3rd section of the book.

my favorite was definitely the first one, even though her husband is a piece of shit. i felt like it was the most "concrete" part of the book and that made most sense to me, probably because it was written through the pov of her husband, who doesn't understands yeonghye and what she's going through. my 2nd fav was her sister's (loved the whole context of being a mother and the love for her kid) and my least fav was the 2nd one. that one was just odd to me idk

anyways it's worth of the read! super quick and it gives you a interesting perspective on mental health and how decisions go much deeper than actually just stopping or wishing to do something. and also, so far, korean literature has not let me down! awesome books. 3 stars!
