I love this little chestnut of a book. Perhaps it’s because my grandmother was my favorite person in the entire world, but the story was a joy from start to finish.
With our world currently in such a crisis and so many people having such a difficult time, it was really nice to retreat to a world where most people are kind, have the best intentions, and look out for each other. If you’re looking for an escape, this is a wonderful one.
