There were a lot of typical tropes here likelibrary girl and prince and the magic wasn’t particularly unique but the story is still interesting.
The writing felt a bit immature at times, but the story kept me reading. Vhalla is a likable main character.
I appreciated thather friend Sareem died just because everything didn’t turn out perfectly for the main characters. I hope Vhalla doesn’t just forget about it in the next book.
