Storm Prey by John Sandford

3.0

A group of criminals decide to make an easy robbery; hit the local hospital, make out with all the good drugs, resell them when the trail's not hot. But things do not go as planned. Now, with one doctor dead and one witness left alive, the criminals decide to start cleaning up their mess. One body at a time...

The witness is Weather Davenport, whose husband Lucas Davenport, works as cop. I haven't read any of the other Storm novels but I get the sense that he's usually the main character. In this case he's heavily involved (even if he's not supposed to be) trying to find ot who is attempting to kill his wife. There's a decent amount of characters and a fairly fast pace. It was a solid three star crime novel.
