I honestly had no idea how to rate any of these books I think I hated them more than I liked them, but I also couldn’t put them down, so ?? I almost stopped after the first book because of how bad the age gap was 16/32 but the reviews were mostly positive so I kept on reading. Books 2-4 were better? By book 4 I actually really liked Kova after all of the explanations came out for his actions, but I swear to god this author hated Ria. Stage 4 kidney disease, lupus, kidney infection, pregnancy, miscarriage (after her father dislocated her shoulder and slams her to the ground consequently causing her miscarriage) and somehow she’s able to compete in the olympics? Give me a fucking break. I only got about a quarter of the way through this book before I started skimming and got to the epilogue which was the one redeeming moment of this entire book.
