The artwork is gorgeous
Few lines in the book till now seem a bit backward. Like Callum stating that everything rests on his shoulder and that he should kead the family because he is a guy and neglected Riona. Or him shoving a lady ( Aida) to the curb, though he was admittedly surprised by his action too.Like no sir, i dont care what crimes you commit, but you should not throw hands at a girl younger than you. On the other hand, i kindof like Aida but her based on her mannerisms, she seems too young? And some the scenes have kindof like dont have explicit consent ( or maybe i was the only one who felt that). But the book is deliciously fast paced and nice to read when in need of a break.
Also I absolutely loved Aida and her character. I think the author has written the female characters well... i think i would give this series another chance. The three stars are for Aida's character and for the epilogue. The book (and communication) gets better after the main characters start falling for each other. But I wish it was like that from the beginning.
