Hands down my favourite book I’ve read this year!
I read the first chapter of this at least 4 times before I got in to it. But once I’d read the Shadow and Bone trilogy (which all and all disappointed me in lack of likeable characters), this was much easier to dive in to. Kaz is the morally grey fictional boy I can’t help but to love, and Nina and Matthias are the enemies to lovers I needed. The heist is confusing, but you go along with the ride, rooting for these characters.
