Gomorrah by Roberto Saviano

5.0

If you are at all interested in the Italian Mafia and it's most modern, recent "history", I highly recommend reading this book. It's translated from Italian to English, so at times the translation is a little off, but for the most part Roberto Saviano paints you very graphic pictures about the Italian Mafia. This is no "Godfather" or "Corleone family" story, but instead tells the inside story of how the mafia in Italy had it's fingers spread out worldwide. At times it might make your stomach twist and turn, but it's fascinating.
