I....struggled to finish this. I started it thinking it was going to be a horror story with a gripping plot. Instead it felt like the author wanted to see how many lesbian/bisexual characters she could fit in  such a short plot. And the most annoying trope is included "everyone is love with each other".  Liv is in love with Alex, Liv's ex boyfriend is in love with Alex too. Alex is in love with Liv too. Oh, and now the detective is in love with Liv. That part alone made me want to put it down. I kept going to see if it had a redeeming ending, sadly, it did not. That ending just felt lazy.
