I had higher expectations for this book, something more than a dude's basically autobiographical anecdotes about his experiences raising and watching animals. It definitely felt like he ran out of steam at some point too, and the stories got less and less interesting. I came away from this with no new knowledge and no deeper insights into the subject matter, which is unfortunately what I was looking for.

It might be better suited to young children.
