The Fraud by Zadie Smith

The concept for this book is so unique, and yet based off a real life event! Zadie Smith excellently weaves the two stories together, and gives each their due. I feel like I know the characters and can understand why they made the choices they made. The descriptions of when people in the book die are just exquisite, she conveys the real life emotions of death, all of the messiness inherent there.
Hearing her speak about the book and its conception only made me appreciate it more, she speaks with such passion and clearly wants to do the story justice.
