I read the novellas because I'm a completionist but I usually do not get much enjoyment out of them because they're too short for what I consider a proper story or any kind of interesting character development. I was hoping it would be different since we already know these characters but I still found myself skimming toward the end because the villains weren't that interesting and I wanted to get the next full-length novel. YMMV if you don't have a novella prejudice as I do.
