Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

First read:

My mother's been trying to get me to read this my entire life and I'm so glad I finally did! It was so lovely and charming. I grew particularly fond of Jo and Amy. I had been misled about Jo and Laurie's relationship (and found him rather childish and infuriating until Amy knocked some sense into him) but I'm very pleased for how everything turned out. I was absolutely smitten and endeared by the Professor.

Second read:

I am still Jo, Jo is still me. The older I get, the more I love Amy. She grows so much and by the time she's in Europe, she's such an amazing woman. And I love how she puts Laurie in his place. She and Laurie belong together, as do Jo and Bhaer.
