the erins really invented mapleshade and then said "let's inject her into everything we've already written"
also, if tigerclaw hates non clan-born cats so much, why's he so obsessed with blackfoot & russetfur, etc.? he has no issues taking help from rogues/loners, but he draws the line at kittypets! i've decided he has daddy issues because of pinestar leaving the clan for kittypets, but you'd think that would make him like kittypets-turned-clan-cat <i>more</i> for seeing how "soft" a life it is or whatever.
anyway i enjoyed reading about how exactly tigerclaw came to power in shadowclan, but i wish it had explored his character better.
