*Once again I am asking to leave your morals at the door*

Lovely Violent Things continues the wild, twisted journey that started with Lovely Bad Things and, honestly, it was worth every second. This book is dark, chaotic, and absolutely unhinged, in the best way possible. Trisha Wolfe’s writing is a masterclass in blending philosophical musings, psychological tension, and steamy romance. Each page feels like a slow unraveling of the mind, pulling you deeper into the world of Kallum and Halen.

Halen’s journey of accepting her attraction to Kallum is captivating. She’s constantly at war with herself, but Kallum’s obsession with her is magnetic, and it's hard not to get swept up in it. The dynamic between them is *everything*—he pushes her boundaries, both mentally and physically, and she’s reluctantly pulled toward him despite herself. It’s intoxicating, watching them both grapple with their feelings, and I loved every moment of it.

Kallum continues to be the perfect blend of brilliance, danger, and obsession. His philosophy-based mind is both a turn-on and a mind-f*ck, and the way he manipulates situations to keep Halen close is masterful. He’s a man of mystery, obsession, and unshakable patience—until the tension finally boils over.

The plot thickens as Halen searches for answers to unsolved cases, all while Kallum becomes even more entwined in her life, dragging her further into his dark, twisted world. The twists in this book? MIND BLOWING (Honestly I did not call it... like at all). The revelations, the new mysteries that arise, and the creeping sense of doom are all woven together so well. This book answers some questions, but leaves plenty more in its wake, ensuring you’re completely hooked for book three.

I couldn’t put it down, and by the end, I was left reeling—ready to dive straight into Lovely Wicked Things (the cliffhanger (???) has me shook). The philosophical references and the dark mystery at the heart of this trilogy continue to make it a unique and unforgettable ride. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re looking for a mind-bending, suspenseful romance with dark twists and an obsessive hero, this series is for YOU
