I enjoyed this book as an audiobook, which was performed with multiple narrators to match the multiple POVs. I think reading it as an audiobook made it easier to follow.
The pace was fairly slow, bouncing between the night of the wedding (when a body is found), and the events leading up to that night, as all of the characters arrive on the island. The conditions are treacherous, a storm rolls in and strands them there, and everyone has secrets. The setting was very atmospheric, and although I've never been there, I could still feel as though I was there on the island.
Each of the characters had their flaws as well as their secrets. Although I was invested in the story and wanted to find out what exactly did happen (and what those secrets were), it felt like everything at the end was too coincidental. Overall, I did enjoy the book, and plan to check out more of Lucy Foley's writing.
