Hunting Shadows by Charles Todd

4.0

I am never disappointed by a Charles Todd novel. The storylines of the mysteries are always engaging and don't have obvious solutions. I love the main character, Ian Rutledge, who is a WWI vet trying to rebuild his life after the war. I also love reading about inspectors who don't have databases or the internet to make their job easier, but have to piece everything together on their own. Definitely a great read.
P.S. I also love the Bess Crawford novels.
