Whoa. I’m completely lost to the grishaverse. I loved this so much. I might even have loved reading this duology more than the six of crows duology. Maybe that’s due to me having been fully obsessed with the grishaverse when starting this duology contrary to not knowing anything about it when starting soc, but oh my I just enjoyed reading this so much.
I went through so many strong emotions in such a short amount of time. One chapter could take me from gasping, to crying to grinning with happiness. The characters are all brilliant. Every storyline so interesting. The duology offered such a big view on how the world works and I loved that so much. Before I always had the feeling we watched big things happen at the edge while looking from a small perspective (which annoyed me a lot in the grisha trilogy) but this was huge! We were in all the action and still had time for the small moments and didn’t loose track of the characters.
This was just so good!
