I didn't know that Nora Roberts wrote more than Romance Novels until I stumbled across Year One at the College Hill Westminster Library. It sucked me in and held me fast to where I fell asleep reading it every night when I would go to bed promising myself that I would only read a couple of pages. I didn't dare reading it during the day because I *knew* wouldn't read only a page or two. It shows mankind's struggle after Doom strikes which turns ordinary people into fae and fantasy creatures both Good and Evil. They are all waiting for The One to save the planet and the evil are doing their best to destroy it and find The One before she is born and end her! It keeps you on the edge of your seat to the very end!
