when I tell you this is one of my favourite books of all time, I don't mean it's a top 10, I mean it's a top 1, tied with maybe 1 or 2 other books.

I loved it so so so much. my heart broke at the ending. I literally ordered the second book when I was halfway through this one and I'm soooo excited to get my hands on it and it came out only like a month ago so after that one I'll have to wait for the third one 😭

Xaden is probably now my top 1 book boyfriend too. I'm so desperately in love with him that I genuinely don't know how I could possibly love a real man like this. I need him to be real and with me like I need air.

I also loved Violet, Tairn, Andarna and Sgaeyl. their interactions were everything to me and I would die for these characters I swear. and my favourite side characters were probably Liam and Rhiannon, I love them so much it hurts, but I loved all their other friends too. also, Mira was so cool, I hope to see her more in future books.

also, Xaden raised my standards so high to the point that I'm definitely gonna be alone forever.

AND also, I'm gonna need a bunch of side books in this series starting with the Book of Brennan and the Fables book.

loved loved loved this book with all my heart (even tho I'm still picking up my heart's pieces because of the ending). the empyrean world is my whole personality right now.
