not Lorrie Moore’s best, but still, it’s Lorrie Moore short stories.
these were kinda forgettable and aggressively middle aged and very immersed in the naughties. which is fine, just not why I read Lorrie Moore.
the last story was excellent and differentiated more clearly from the others. it single-handedly bumped my rating from a 3 to a 3.5.
