This book was one of the worst books that I have read this year. The premise sounded promising and the writing flowed. However for a book to be about a world with zombies, there was basically no zombies the first half of the book. Instead we had the main character Mary bemoan everything. Mary was one of the least likable main characters that I have read about. The love triangle was at first nonexistent, then rather sad, and then just completely changed. I felt that I was reading a different love story that just was unbelievable. Another main problem was the world building was confusing and some things never explained. I am torn whether this was a one star or a two star review. Maybe a 1.5. Apparently the movie rights have been bought for this book, hopefully the screen play will be vastly different then the book.
