I will be honest, I thought this one was considerably worse than the first book in this series. I love enemies-to-lovers, but I just don't think the relationship was built up in the right way. The main love interest goes from 0 to 100 and it's a lot to me. I don't like the relationship right now between our love interests which is really problematic considering the fantasy aspect was not done well in the first and continues to not build in the sequel. 

This was fine to read and I finished, but I don't think it is a must read.
